Our Mission:

S.A.F.E. Place is committed to helping victims of domestic violence and their families in Barry, Eaton, and Calhoun Counties. We offer a range of social intervention and advocacy services. S.A.F.E. Place stresses early intervention, strengthening families, and providing a continuum of care through community resources and referrals.
S.A.F.E. Place provides shelter, court advocacy, referrals and comprehensive counseling programs for victims of domestic violence — women and children who have been physically, verbally, or emotionally abused.
