,Volunteer training is required to be completed by all S.A.F.E. Place Volunteers and Interns. Training does not need to be completed all at once. The group training are more interactive, include interesting discussion, and an opportunity to meet other volunteers and staff members. Training is offered three times a year to accommodate schedules. Typically in January, May and in September.

Domestic Violence and the History of DV
Counseling and Trauma Informed Practice
Court Systems and Law Enforcement
Intersectionality, Understanding Privilege and the Role of Allyship
Creating and Identifying Resources for Survivors
Compassion Fatigue/Burnout and Self-Care
Children and Domestic Violence
